# SQLFreeEnv Mapping
When an application calls **SQLFreeEnv** through an ODBC *3.x* driver, the call to  
  
```  
SQLFreeEnv(henv)   
```  
  
 is mapped to  
  
```  
SQLFreeHandle(SQL_HANDLE_ENV,Handle)  
```  
  
 with the *Handle* argument set to the value in *henv*.
