[!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] Migration Assistant (SSMA) for Access is a tool for migrating databases from [!INCLUDEmsCoName] Access versions 97 through 2010 to [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] 2012, [!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] 2014, [!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] 2016, [!INCLUDEmsCoName][!INCLUDEssNoVersion] 2017 on Windows and Linux, [!INCLUDEmsCoName][!INCLUDEssNoVersion] 2019 on Windows and Linux, or [!INCLUDEmsCoName] Azure SQL Database. SSMA for Access converts Access database objects to [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] or Azure SQL database objects, loads those objects into [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] or Azure SQL Database, and then migrates data from Access to [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] or Azure SQL Database.
