Options (Environment-Keyboard Page)

The Options dialog box lets you customize the keyboard scheme for [!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEssManStudioFull]. Use this option to choose a keyboard scheme. To access this page, click Options on the Tools menu, select the Environment folder, and then click Keyboard.

The Keyboard scheme drop-down list provides the available collections of shortcut keys. To load a specific scheme, select it from the list. When you are ready to leave the Options dialog box, click OK. Your selected scheme will be loaded into [!INCLUDEssManStudioFull].

Standard
The Standard scheme is the default in [!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] and closely resembles the [!INCLUDEmsCoName] Visual Studio shortcut keys.

Use the Query shortcuts grid to associate a stored procedure with a keyboard shortcut.

Shortcut
The keyboard combination pressed to execute the stored procedure.

Stored Procedure
The stored procedure that executes when you press the keyboard shortcut.

For a list of the keyboard shortcut keys in each scheme, see SQL Server Management Studio Keyboard Shortcuts.
