SMO clients require [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] Native Client, which is included with [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] and the [!INCLUDEdnprdnshort] 2.0.
To develop applications by using SMO, you must have [!INCLUDEmsCoName] [!INCLUDEvsprvs] 2008 installed.
