Upgrade SQL Server

You can upgrade instances of [!INCLUDEssKatmai], [!INCLUDEssKilimanjaro], [!INCLUDEssSQL11], or [!INCLUDEssSQL14] to [!INCLUDEssCurrent]. Before running [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] Setup to upgrade to [!INCLUDEssCurrent], review the following topics about the upgrade process and the release notes.
