Check the ODBC SQL Server Driver Version (Windows)

[!INCLUDEappliesto-ss-asdb-asdw-pdw-md]

Your computer may contain a variety of ODBC drivers, from [!INCLUDEmsCoName] and from other companies. This topic describes how to use the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator to check the version of the installed ODBC drivers.

To check the ODBC SQL Server driver version (32-bit ODBC)

  • In the ODBC Data Source Administrator, click the Drivers tab.

Information for the Microsoft [!INCLUDEssNoVersion] entry is displayed in the Version column.

Note

For connections to Azure Active Directory Authentication for SQL Database install the latest driver, such as ODBC Driver 13.1 for SQL Server.
