Release notes for SQL Server 2025 Preview on Linux

The following release notes apply to [!INCLUDE ssSQL25] running on Linux. This article is broken into sections for each release. Tools

Most existing client tools that target [!INCLUDE ssNoVersion] can seamlessly target [!INCLUDE ssNoVersion] running on Linux. Some tools might have a specific version requirement to work well with Linux. For a full list of [!INCLUDE ssNoVersion] tools, see SQL tools overview.

How to install updates
