Vestiaire Collective’s CEO Bernard Osta recently took the stage at the Milken Institute 2026 Global Conference in Los Angeles. As a global business proud of our French heritage, we believe banking on the European technology space is key to fuel its competitiveness. Here are the 3 key takeaways from the discussion: ➡️ Reducing dependency: Decreasing reliance on foreign tech giants by building robust, localized investment alternatives. ➡️ Scaling from within: Leveraging Europe’s diverse market and exceptional talent pool to build global champions. ➡️ Seeing the glass half full: Acknowledging macroeconomic challenges, while focusing firmly on the immense opportunities ahead for European innovation. Thank you to Petra Freddi for including us in this crucial debate alongside global change-makers. #MIGlobal

What if a fashion business could reduce its environmental impact while growing? In the spirit of Earth Day, Vestiaire Collective is pleased to announce that it has reached a new milestone: 4.8x more emissions avoided than generated, up from 3.4x last year. This progress reflects a model where growth and positive impact go hand in hand, at a time when consumer habits are rapidly evolving. 🛍️ ~85% of our users choose second-hand over new, helping extend product lifespan and limit overproduction. ♻️ 5-year retrospective on our carbon footprint: • Air freight reduced from 50% in 2020 to 16% in 2025, reshaping our transport mix. • Carbon footprint back to 2020 levels (–30% vs. 2024) • Carbon intensity –41% vs. 2020 (–26% vs. 2024) Our mission remains unchanged and feels more relevant than ever: to transform the fashion industry for a more sustainable future, promoting the circular fashion movement as an alternative to overproduction. At Vestiaire Collective, we lead with sustainable growth, proving circular fashion is a force for good. Growth isn’t over, nor is our positive impact! Stay tuned!

Thank you ReCon NYC for welcoming Vestiaire Collective ‘s Chief Business Officer, Klemen Drole, to take the stage in New York last week alongside voices of the resale ecosystem. Interviewed by Andrew Adam Newman from Morning Brew, he shared his perspective on the evolution of the resale market and the role of Vestiaire Collective in shaping it. Key highlights: 🤝 Collaboration with brands: from building trust through authentication to unlocking new audiences and extending product lifecycles, resale is becoming a strategic lever for brands. 🤖 AI as a growth driver: simplifying the seller experience while transforming discovery and curation for buyers, AI is accelerating both scale and efficiency across the platform. 🔁 Resale momentum: a structural shift in consumer behavior, with second-hand increasingly becoming a first choice, is reshaping the future of the fashion industry.

🌍 Earth Month is a moment to challenge how we consume fashion. At Vestiaire Collective, we continue to promote more conscious habits: buying less, but better. This year, as part of our “Influence for Good” initiative, we designed another immersive learning experience inspired by our “Got Nothing to Wear” study, exploring how our emotional relationship with clothing can unintentionally drive overconsumption. From a visit to the GEBETEX recycling facility ♻️ to workshops on mindful consumption and value perception, participants were invited to rethink how we buy, use, and value fashion. Alongside voices like Julia FAURE and Charlotte Lemay, this initiative highlighted how resale can drive more mindful consumption, by extending product lifecycles, informing better purchasing decisions, and shifting value from ownership to longevity. In collaboration with Aware Collective 🤝, these moments are meant to empower a community of content creators to amplify their impact and help reshape fashion consumption for a more sustainable future ✨ 🎥 Alex Socks Hortense Pruvost Anne Meyrueis Gaya Guiragossian Marie Tobaly-Meurisse

84% of people feel they have “nothing to wear”. In 90% of cases, that feeling leads to a new purchase 🛍️💳 At Vestiaire Collective, in partnership with WRÅD, we released our first analysis exploring the emotional triggers behind the universal feeling of having “nothing to wear.” What seems like a simple wardrobe dilemma actually fuels overconsumption. Our research uncovers the disconnect people experience with their closets, and reveals how to break the frustration cycle. Key insights: 🤯 The "nothing to wear” feeling peaks at 94% among Gen Z 💭 In 70% of cases, this frustration stems from emotional factors 📉 Among Vestiaire Collective buyers, weekly “nothing to wear” moments drop by 23%, while those who never experience it jump by 50% What does it mean? Circular fashion encourages a more conscious and thoughtful approach to shopping, fostering a healthier relationship with clothing and extends the life of timeless pieces. Through our “Got Nothing to Wear” campaign, we aim to shift this frustration into an opportunity for change: buy less, buy better, and reconnect with your wardrobe through timeless, pre-loved luxury.

In an exclusive interview with WWD, our CEO Bernard Osta shared his vision for Vestiaire Collective strengthening our presence in the US. Better positioned than ever, Vestiaire Collective is shaping the future of fashion to be truly circular, with secondhand becoming a natural choice for consumers. 🇺🇸 The US is a spectacular market. We are doubling down on local transactions to deliver a faster, more exciting experience for our American community. 📈 With secondhand sales currently representing only 6% to 7% of the global luxury market, we see immense room for growth. We aren’t just fighting for that small slice; we are going after the 93% of the market yet to be captured. 🔍Trust is at the heart of our strategy, built through 17 years of expertise. By combining our highly trained experts with advanced AI-assisted verification tools, we continue to offer the safest and best experience for our customers. 🗞 Interview by Rhonda Richford
