At Upciti, we’re huge football fans, and yes, I mean soccer⚽(we are an international company, but a French-born company after all 😉)
So, I'm happy to share that we launched a project in the iconic city of Liverpool City Council … that’s mega special!!
I am proud to announce that Upciti sensors are now deployed in the city, marking a major step toward a smarter, more responsive urban environment 🇬🇧
In collaboration with Signify, using our sensors, interoperable data and Signify's Interact Lighting, and using existing infrastructure, we enabled adaptive lighting powered by real-time data to enhance both energy efficiency and urban responsiveness 💡
And it doesn’t stop there.
Through this project, the City of Liverpool will be able to leverage Upciti’s highly accurate, real-time data to:
🚗 Better understand vehicle flows
🚦 Optimize traffic and reduce congestion
📊 Support more efficient, data-driven city operations
With our Upciti CitiOs dashboard, this data is transformed into clear, actionable insights, enabling city teams to make faster, smarter decisions and continuously improve the urban experience.
This project is also about the future.
It lays the foundation for a scalable, evolving data ecosystem, one that can support new use cases over time as the city’s needs and ambitions grow.
👋 A big thank you to Signify , McCann Ltd , and the Liverpool City Council teams for their trust and collaboration. It is a pleasure working with you and doing this successful project together.
We’re excited to be part of this journey with a city that prioritizes its residents' quality of life.
