💦 For the second year in a row, the #6KMForWater challenge brings our employees together around a shared commitment: raising awareness of the challenges related to access to safe drinking water. Last month, we shared the results of the 2026 collective effort. But behind these results, there is above all real, tangible impact on the ground. 👉 Last year’s edition enabled Saur Solidarities to support World Vision France, contributing in particular to the funding of a water access project in Zambia. The figures we are sharing today reflect the progress of this program, to which we have contributed. In Zambia, thousands of lives have already been transformed. 👉 Between October 2024 and September 2025: 213,079 people gained access to safe drinking water 781 boreholes were drilled 3,163 water points were installed In practical terms, this means that in villages like Matala, 133 residents now have access to safe drinking water close to their homes: fewer diseases, less time spent walking, and more time to learn, work and live. Access to water sustainably transforms living conditions: 👉 350 schools and 125 health centers are now equipped. What if 2025 had been a defining year for water? At Saur, this year has above all confirmed one thing: water has become an issue that concerns us all. Droughts, pressure on resources, growing expectations from local communities, new uses… the way we manage water today is already shaping the world of tomorrow. In 2025, this translated into very tangible progress: • 4.3+ million subscribers (water meters) worldwide • 83.5 million m3 of water reused since 2021 • operations in 25 countries And a clear ambition for 2030: accelerating the water transition. 💧 The future of water and wastewater management is being built on the ground — and Lugo is a prime example. A few weeks ago, Saur España brought together its teams in Lugo, alongside Gestión y Técnicas del Agua S.A. (Gestagua) and Emalsa, for a seminar dedicated to the Group’s 2030 strategy. Lugo was an obvious choice. For more than 35 years, the city has been a reference territory for wastewater treatment and sanitation infrastructure, combining operational excellence, long term public partnerships and continuous innovation. Participants had the opportunity to visit these facilities and see how resilient infrastructures can anticipate environmental and climate challenges. We were honoured to welcome Miguel Fernández, Mayor of Lugo, and Carolina Darias, Mayor of Las Palmas, who joined the visit to discover these installations and exchange on shared challenges faced by water services in our territories. What if better water management could also help industry grow sustainably? In Jeddah, Aquapor Serviços, S.A. and International Water Distribution Co. (Tawzea) are supporting the development of the Jeddah 2 & 3 Industrial Cities through a long-term concession for water and wastewater services. A well-established site, now home to nearly 1,000 industries, with significant room for further growth. ♻️ Up to 20,000 m³/day of treated wastewater reused 💧A system designed to close the loop and reduce reliance on freshwater resources, supported by new infrastructure such as a wastewater pumping station 🏆 This work has just been recognized: Tawzea Aquapor received an award from the Local Content And Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), in the SME – Energy & Water category. A distinction that highlights their commitment to developing local capabilities and creating sustainable value in the Kingdom. A strong example of how water reuse can support both industrial development and environmental ambition. What if the real question, every day, was simply this: are we doing enough to make sure everyone gets home safely? 👷♂️ On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, at Group Saur, we are sharing very concrete progress, rooted in day‑to‑day operations. In 2025, at Cise TP, the results reflect real progress: fewer accidents and more sites operating without incidents. A dynamic that shows practices are evolving, step by step. The same momentum can be seen at Saur Services, where safety performance continues to improve. But beyond the numbers, it is above all the commitment of teams that makes the difference: regular safety discussions, habits that are becoming second nature, and the ability to move forward on demanding topics such as asbestos risk, with systems already in place ahead of upcoming regulatory changes. This collective commitment is also reflected internationally. At Saur Qatar, teams have recently reached a major milestone: 1 million man‑hours worked with no lost‑time injuries — a strong illustration of what daily vigilance and shared responsibility can achieve on the ground. 🤝 Since the beginning of 2026, we have entered a new phase: strengthening skills, supporting teams closer to the field, increasing dedicated safety moments, and recognizing those who are committed every day. 💦 What if the ecological transition also depended on how we finance it? This was one of the key and inspiring topics we were pleased to discuss during the #RencontresIFD2026 at Bercy. From blue finance to climate change adaptation and territorial sovereignty, the discussions highlighted a critical issue: water and the infrastructure that supports it are at the heart of our collective resilience. For an operator of essential water services, climate adaptation is not a concept — it is a responsibility we assume every day on the ground, to ensure continuity, security, and territorial stability. Through the contributions of Patrick Blethon and Benedicte PEYROL, we shared a strong conviction at Saur: to accelerate the transition, we must connect financing, performance, and tangible impact for local communities and territories. 💧 Saur’s engineering expertise in action with STEREAU Early 2026 is off to a strong start for STEREAU, Saur Group’s engineering subsidiary, with several major contracts secured in France and abroad, confirming its leadership in complex water and wastewater treatment projects. Key wins include: - Micropollutant treatment unit in Yport, securing drinking water for 80,000 residents - Low pressure reverse osmosis reference project in Saint Cyr sur Loire - Renovation of sand filters at the Orly 1 drinking water plant - Modernisation of the Vauguières le Bas drinking water plant - Expansion and upgrade of the Saint Briac – Saint Lunaire wastewater treatment plant - Full modernisation projects in Camaret sur Aygues and Thouars - Major contracts with SIAAP with Stereau Equipements et Services Internationally, STEREAU continues to deploy its expertise with a technical audit mission in the Comoros. 🌎 We have just been awarded Moody’s NZ-3 Net Zero Assessment rating, confirming the credibility of our transition plan in line with the Paris Agreement. Beyond the rating, this matters for one reason: climate transition in the water sector is not optional. It is structural. Our ambition is clear: ➡️ –15% emissions on scopes 1 and 2 by 2032 ➡️ –90% by 2050 And it is already being translated into action: ⚡ electrifying our operations ♻️ developing renewable energy 🤖 optimizing processes through AI 🌱 rethinking procurement and circularity 💧 recovering energy from sludge This momentum is also supported by a dedicated sustainable finance strategy, including the issuance of our first blue bonds in 2024. Because water and climate transitions must move forward together to strengthen the resilience of territories. Last week, together with our client Águas do Tejo Atlântico and in the presence of the Portuguese Secretary of State, Aquapor Serviços, S.A. signed a major milestone project for Saur International: the development of Portugal’s first thermal hydrolysis unit at the Frielas wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater treatment plants are no longer simple treatment facilities — they are becoming true energy production hubs and drivers of environmental resilience. This project will: ⚡ Improve sludge valorization and enable the production of microbiologically stabilized sludge suitable for agricultural use 🔥 Boost biogas recovery, strengthening energy self‑sufficiency 🔄 Support a circular and low‑carbon urban water cycle 🌍 Serve a region of 700,000 inhabitants and optimize the treatment of nearly 70,000 m³/day of wastewater This initiative will help the Lisbon region accelerate its transition toward a circular and low‑carbon model — and marks a new step forward in Saur’s development in Portugal.  Thank you to Águas do Tejo Atlântico for their trust, and to all the teams involved. 💧 6 km. That’s the distance thousands of children, often girls, walk every day to collect water. On the occasion of World Water Day, employees of the Saur Group took action through the #6KMForWater challenge, in support of the program led by World Vision France in Ghana. Results of this collective mobilization: 👥 1,259 participants 🌍 16 countries / entities mobilized The funds support a large-scale program aimed at sustainably improving access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene across 23 rural districts, benefiting around 700,000 people. ➡️ The program includes the creation of modern water supply systems, often powered by solar energy, strengthening infrastructure in schools and health centers, installing improved latrines, as well as hygiene education programs and support for local authorities to ensure the long-term sustainability of the facilities, including intensified water supply works to bring water closer to homes and reduce the physically demanding transport often borne by women, girls, and children. A collective mobilization that reminds us that access to safe drinking water remains a major challenge for millions of people around the world. A big thank you to everyone who took part.
