    At Lesaffre, we think globally and act locally! Our multilocal business model delivers a promise to our clients and partners: no matter where they are in the world, Lesaffre is never far away! For 170 years, our network has been perfectly adapted to monitor changes in tastes, markets, products, techniques and processes all over the world. To fulfill this commitment, our international teams of sensory analysis experts rely on training and knowledge exchange with our technical teams to better understand the sensory characteristics of bakery applications, combining tradition and innovation. In places like Mexico, where our international team of technical experts participated in a unique session focused on traditional local products. Products from different countries are compared from Mexico to Europe and Asia, we explored how local processes influence the aroma, flavor, and texture. Impact of Lesaffre solutions—enzymes and sourdough—on the flavor and texture profile is also investigated. In a world where taste, texture, and aroma determine a product’s success or failure, sensory evaluation remains a key tool to transform consumer perception into meaningful product innovation.

    Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, and at Lesaffre, there is no priority higher than safety. This approach is based on rigorous policies and procedures designed to identify and assess the risks associated with our activities. Safety programs and training help foster a genuine safety culture within our teams, reinforced over the long term by a combination of organizational, behavioral, and technical approaches. Behavioral observations, inspections, and safety audits help prevent risky behaviors and reinforce safety awareness at all sites. On this special day, we would also like to highlight Lesaffre Maroc’s achievement of 1,097 days without a lost-time accident — an outstanding milestone that makes us proud.     Today is World Water Day! At Lesaffre, we are committed to sustainable and responsible growth. Water consumption is therefore a key focus in our plants, applied science centers and offices. Our ambition is based on a specific and measurable commitment: to reduce our water consumption by 20% by 2030 compared to our reference year of 2022, with a particular focus on groundwater abstraction. Beyond a quantified target, this approach reflects our vision for resource conservation: every cubic metre of water withdrawal avoided represents a further step towards the responsible and sustainable management of water, a vital resource for our planet. Our plants are therefore at the heart of this transformation, guided by our mission to minimise the impact on the depletion of water resources.
