New elegance with a modern twist and femininity combine in the timeless world of Givenchy. Its style is the signature of Hubert de Givenchy, who established the eponymous Haute Couture Maison at the start of the 1950s. Combining finesse, discretion, and elegance, he ensured his designs and ateliers rose to the top and played a key role in international fashion. In 1957, an expansion of scope took place with the launch of the Maison's first fragrance, L’Interdit – a symbol of the legendary friendship between Hubert de Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn. Ever since then iconic creations from the Maison have continued to cultivate elegance and boldness. In September 2024, Givenchy opened a new chapter in the history of the Maison announcing Sarah Burton as Creative Director of both the womenswear and menswear collections.

    The Givenchy Winter 2026 Womenswear collection by Sarah Burton. Sarah Burton’s third Givenchy runway show represents her intuitive portrayal of the strengths of women today.  Painterly themes and sculptural forms lean towards glimpses of Northern European old masters. The drape of a heavy duchesse satin cape, the shredded flowered evening dresses, the head-dresses conjured by Stephen Jones. "These headwraps are the most natural hair coverings there are. Just a T-shirt. Just a twist. But it's the right T-shirt, with the right twist," as he puts it. From strict sartorial precision to sensual free-form drape, Givenchy acts as a multi-faceted mirror held up to the complexity of women’s lives.

    The Portrait Series III The Summer 2026 campaign captures further on-set moments, expressing the impulses, wit and enjoyment women share. Sarah Burton's image-making blurs the conventions between who's portrayed, who's modeling and who's holding the camera. Collier Schorr shot the great photographer Annie Leibovitz alongside Kaia Gerber, artist Isabelle Albuquerque, and the models who represent the wide-open world of Givenchy women: Selena Forrest and Liu Wen.
