Brno is taking a data‑driven step toward safer, smoother and more sustainable urban mobility. 🌐 In the southern part of the city, we have successfully completed a pilot deployment of Yutraffic FUSION – our AI‑enabled adaptive traffic control system – across six signalized intersections. 🚦 The objective was clear: to explore how 5G‑supported, connected traffic technologies can improve everyday traffic conditions and enable truly cooperative, data‑driven traffic management. By combining – real‑time communication between infrastructure and vehicles, – AI‑enabled video analytics, and – reliable 5G connectivity, the pilot delivered tangible results: ✅ Smoother traffic flow, ✅ improved safety through timely warnings, and ✅ better support for public transport and emergency services. This pilot demonstrates how adaptive control, connectivity and data can translate directly into measurable benefits for cities and road users – and how scalable solutions can form the backbone of future‑ready mobility.

Reykjavik is renewing its traffic infrastructure! 🚦🌐 In a compact network with challenging weather conditions and limited resources, The City of Reykjavik is focusing on what matters most: improving reliability, flexibility, and day-to-day traffic operations, while preparing for evolving mobility needs. How? By... 🔧 Upgrading the existing installed base: Modernizing long-running traffic controllers while maintaining uninterrupted daily operations 🖥️ Centralizing the traffic management system to Yutraffic Symphony: A platform that provides a unified operational environment from which signals and intersections across the city can be monitored and coordinated. 📊 Deploying adaptive control with Yutraffic FUSION: Ajusting signal timings based on real traffic demand instead of fixed schedules or local traffic strategies. 🤖 Exploring AI-enabled traffic applications and V2X use cases: Integrating data, conectivity, and intelligent systems – fully compatible with existing infrastructure. As part of this major infrastructure upgrade, our team partnered with TROPAC Australia and Aldridge Traffic Controllers Pty Ltd (ATC) to implement a high‑performance traffic management solution for one of Tasmania’s most important transport corridors. 🛣️ To support the project’s long‑term reliability, TROPAC supplied purpose‑engineered Ventilated Field Cabinets designed to protect critical electronics from harsh environmental conditions while maintaining stable internal temperatures. These cabinets play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous uptime required for modern traffic control systems. By combining TROPAC’s robust hardware with the technical expertise of Yunex Traffic and ATC, we’ve delivered a durable, future‑ready solution that will support the Tasmanian community for many years to come. 🎉 Wrapping up three years of collaboration at the EU‑funded SYNCHROMODE Project Final Event in Brussels! After three years of joint work across Europe, the #SYNCHROMODE project officially came to a close – bringing together partners, policymakers, and practitioners to reflect on what’s been achieved and what comes next in multimodal traffic management. Over two days, we explored project results, live demonstrations, and key lessons learned – from governance and policy perspectives to hands‑on experience in real traffic environments. Insights from the pilot cities stood out, offering honest reflections on real‑world deployment, operational challenges, and measurable impact. For us at Yunex Traffic, SYNCHROMODE was a strong example of what effective collaboration in European R&I projects can look like. Working closely with our subsidiaries Aimsun and VMZ, we combined strengths in traffic modelling, data‑driven decision support, and real‑time traffic management to develop and validate scalable, multimodal solutions. This collaboration underscores the importance of cross‑industry partnerships in translating research outcomes into practical and deployable tools. 🫱🏼🫲🏽 The panel discussions – from the Multimodal Traffic Management Cluster exchange to conversations on the future role of AI – made one thing clear: while the project may have ended, the need for integrated, interoperable, and data‑driven traffic management is only growing. 👏🏽 A big thank you to all partners, stakeholders, and participants for the strong collaboration throughout the journey.
