AI isn’t just increasing computing power; it’s also increasing rack power densities. Traditional room cooling reaches its limits fast. But high‑capacity air systems like CoolW@ll are a different story: they use large heat exchanger surfaces and smart airflow management to keep high densities under control while staying energy‑efficient. On top of that, weisstechnik can now add liquid and hybrid concepts where it really makes sense – for the hottest racks, retrofit projects or AI clusters – to squeeze out even more kW per footprint without redesigning the entire room. So the question is no longer “air vs. liquid”. It’s: How far can you go with advanced air – and where does a hybrid twist give you an extra edge? Is it time to adapt your cooling strategy to AI-driven densities? Are you still using air only, or are you already thinking hybrid?

You have high maintenance costs in your dry room? 💸 Let’s fix that. Battery production plays a key role in the global shift toward e-mobility but it comes with challenges. It’s energy-intensive, highly sensitive to humidity, and generates fine particles during manufacturing. That’s why efficient air management is critical in dry rooms. Traditional setups often use suspended ceilings with hundreds of filters. These filters need regular replacement, which is not only time-consuming and costly, but also causes downtime. A smarter solution combines textile ducts with fan filter units (FFUs). This setup significantly reduces the number of filters required, simplifies maintenance, and even allows replacements during production. The result: fewer interruptions and lower operating costs. Textile ducts also ensure consistent airflow across the entire production area — protecting sensitive processes and increasing reliability. Their flexible design supports easier planning, quick retrofitting, and unrestricted ceiling heights — ideal for modern manufacturing. Want to make your dry room more efficient and future-ready? Contact us, we are happy to help.

Did you know that hidden biofilm in cooling systems can turn into a health hazard overnight? ⚠️ When using secondary air-conditioning units for recirculated air cooling, condensate can form after shutdown. This creates biofilm – a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. Upon restart, airborne microorganisms can spread throughout the room, posing a serious health risk. Our solution: The Vindur® TOP secondary air-conditioning unit offers optional Thermal Disinfection to prevent biofilm formation: 😷 Automatic, sequential heating of heat exchanger and condensate tray to approx. 70 °C after shutdown 😷 Drying of moist components and reliable elimination of microorganisms 😷 Effective prevention of biofilm as a nutrient source for bacteria and fungi Thermal Disinfection is part of Vindur TOP’s four-stage safety concept, which also includes silver-ion coating on internal panels and optional H14 HEPA filters and UVC lamps for additional disinfection during cooling operation. You need safe and hygienic air? Let’s talk.

🔧 Keeping climate technology running – before downtime becomes an issue Wherever climate technology is not just infrastructure but essential for stable and safe operations, preventing downtime is a top priority. That is why a proactive approach matters. Regular maintenance is key to ensuring reliability and avoiding disruptions before they occur. In the interview, Onur Tava, Deputy Head of Field Service, explains how planned maintenance, calibration and re‑qualification help keep systems operating reliably over the long term – reducing the risk of unplanned shutdowns and safeguarding critical processes. He also outlines how service support at weisstechnik is structured today to assist customers around the clock when needed: from direct telephone support and remote assistance via the Vindur cockpit to on‑site service in critical situations. 👉 Read the full interview to gain insights into maintenance strategies, emergency support, retrofits and the continuous improvement of our customer service: https://lnkd.in/dt4v3wKS
