Toshiba has started test-sample shipments of a 1200V trench-gate SiC MOSFET designed for next-generation AI data center power supply systems. Available in a QDPAK top-side cooled package, the device delivers high current capability, improved thermal performance, and higher power density for more efficient AI server power systems. Key features include: • 7.0mΩ typical RDS(on) • 172A DC drain current • Approximately 58% lower RDS(on)A and 52% improved figure of merit compared with Toshiba’s previous generation The TW007D120E is also suitable for photovoltaic inverters, UPS systems, EV charging stations, and energy storage systems. #Toshiba #AI #DataCenters #SiC

TEE Environmental Day – Together for a Cleaner Community. Check out the weather forecast: 17°C, sunny, not a drop of rain - perfect for our Environmental Day! On April 22, twelve colleagues came together for our biannual Environmental Day. With great weather and high spirits, we started at the office and walked to the Rhine, collecting litter along the way and at the riverside. Using grabbers borrowed from the city cleaning department, we quickly filled our bags with wrappers, bottles, paper bags, fast food cups, and many cigarette butts. Passersby noticed our Toshiba vests and thanked us for our efforts, and community feedback gave us an extra boost of motivation. First-time participants shared how the activity inspired them: - One noted, “I joined, looking forward to some fresh air and a detox walk, but it became much more than that - reminding me how awareness and care for the environment connect people.” - Another reflected, “It was a meaningful experience - not just picking up litter, but also enjoying fresh air, nice conversations, and realizing that small steps in daily life can already make a real difference.” We’re proud to work together for a cleaner, brighter future! #Toshiba #TEEEnvironmentalDay #Sustainability

The new 1-bit and 2-bit dual-supply bus transceivers are designed to simplify level shifting, enabling bidirectional translation from as low as 0.7V/0.8V up to 3.6V, without the need for additional components.
