  • 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁? At the #Flame Conference in Amsterdam, our CSO Hamead Ahrary discussed #European industrial competitiveness and evolving buyer expectations with Clemens Karg, Vice President, BASF, and Elisabeth Aarrestad, Vice President Sales & Customer Relations, Equinor.    𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗱’𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: there is no one-size-fits-all answer, but there is a common formula. While price remains critical, especially for #energy-intensive industries, competitiveness goes further. Buyers increasingly expect the right conditions to be in place:  🔹Long-term security of supply  🔹Flexibility to adapt to changing needs  🔹Reduced exposure to volatility  🔹Affordable decarbonisation solutions    𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆: selling is no longer about simply delivering a commodity. As markets grow more complex, suppliers need to create tangible added value – those who don’t will struggle to compete.     Many thanks to Erik Rakhou, Managing Director and Founder at Rakhou Associates, for leading the discussion.    #SEFE #EnergyMarkets #FlameConf #Gas #LNG | SEFE Energy GmbH

We have now made a further repayment of nearly €300 million to the 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆, bringing total state aid repayments to almost €1 billion. • It was a pleasure to host this important discussion on carbon transport and the future of #CCS and #CCU at SEFE. Building a scalable #CO₂ infrastructure will require close collaboration across industry, policymakers and infrastructure players — but the momentum is clearly growing across #Europe. 𝗖𝗢₂ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹ö𝗵𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Wie bringen wir abgeschiedenes CO₂ dorthin, wo es genutzt oder dauerhaft gespeichert werden kann? Diese Frage stand im Mittelpunkt unseres Workshops „CO₂‑Transport“ am 11. Mai bei SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH. • At the 40th conference "𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁", hosted by the Landesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz, our CSO Hamead Ahrary spoke this week about the future of #industrial gas supply. The landscape has fundamentally shifted: a market that was once stable and predictable is now shaped by #volatility and #geopolitical factors. As a result, #energy #security and #affordability are moving firmly into focus. Despite the drive towards #decarbonisation, gas therefore remains a key part of the energy mix – not by default, but because it meets exactly these core requirements. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿: 🔹Ensuring gas remains available and #affordable for as long as needed. 🔹While at the same time developing and advancing #diverse decarbonisation pathways.   𝗔 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 – 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. #EnergySecurity #Gas #Decarbonisation | SEFE Energy GmbH
