  • 🤝🏻 We’ve had some exciting days full of discussion, focus and genuine collaboration! 🤝🏻 Around 42 colleagues from 25 subsidiaries came together at the Digital Marketing Days in Warsaw. Our time together was characterised by openness, trust and a genuine desire to share experiences and make progress together. The sessions focused on trending topics such as: ✅ AI in digital marketing ✅ GEO ✅ Blog ✅ PIM ✅ HubSpot Breeze At its core, the aim was to learn from each other and take away ideas that will have a real impact in our day-to-day work. Thinking things through together, re-evaluating them, whilst not losing sight of efficiency, clear structures and the mindful use of resources. A special thank you goes to our guest speakers Balaji Sundareswaran and Lenneke Kolkman for their valuable insights and inspiration, as well as to the main speakers Matthias Knopf, Neele Šumskis, Thomas Welsch, Nadine Welsch and Anna Luisa Tröller for their excellent preparation and execution on the day. We would also like to thank all our subsidiaries for their participation, high level of commitment and many valuable contributions. It is precisely this constructive and personal exchange that makes the Digital Marketing Days so special. 💪🏻

  • Bringing color to the data center 🔧 Together with my service technician colleague Tobias B., I headed to a data center of a major bank in Frankfurt. There, we updated a total of 500 PDU rails and equipped them with intelligent RGB light strips. 💡   The light strips are integrated directly into the PDUs in the cold aisle. The aisle containment and the perforated floor ensure optimal cooling of the servers. In this critical infrastructure, metered PDUs in a master-slave setup are used to guarantee a reliable, redundant power supply. More transparency in the cold aisle. The new lighting shows the system status at a glance:  ✅ Green – everything running smoothly  ⚪ White – door open  🚨 Red – fault detected My takeaway from this exciting job: Technology shouldn’t just work. It should make operations simpler, safer, and more efficient. #RiBert #Rittal #Datacenter #IT #Service #Innovation

🚀 The Future of Service: digital, connected and human   Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the 116th AFSMI Chapter Meeting at Rittal in Herborn, bringing together experts from service and industry to discuss a key question: How are digital data and AI transforming service and what does this mean for people?   The clear message: Real value in service only emerges when digital solutions are combined with human strengths such as curiosity, creativity, responsibility and empathy.   Key impulses and hands‑on insights were provided by: 🎤 Frank Walde – AI, structure and transformation in service 🎤 Silke Böhm – leadership, trust and hybrid teams of humans & AI 🎤 Lukas Wolfram & Bernd Bertram – digital collaboration between manufacturer and operator, including a live demo session 🎤 Harald Kopp – presentation of survey results on the human aspects of digital and AI transformation in service   In interactive workshops 🛠 Oliver C. Roerig demonstrated how AI adoption can be implemented quickly and pragmatically and 🛠 Georg Bons showcased the potential of 3D printing already delivering value in service today.   Many thanks to the AFSMI German Chapter – Association for Service Management International and to all participants for the open exchange, inspiring discussions, and valuable insights. It was a pleasure having you with us at Rittal and we look forward to continuing this journey!   #Rittal #AFSMI #ServiceManagement #DigitalTransformation #ArtificialIntelligence #Leadership #FutureOfService #AFSMI_RITTAL

Rethinking Charging Infrastructure: The Shift Toward Distributed DC Powerblocks As the global energy landscape evolves, the integration of high-power charging into existing systems presents a significant engineering challenge. The partnership between Rittal GmbH & Co. KG and EcoG explores a move away from traditional standalone chargers toward a Distributed Powerblock Architecture. This approach treats charging infrastructure not as isolated hardware, but as a modular component of the broader energy ecosystem. ➡️ Why Distributed DC? The transition to a DC-based charging topology offers several systemic advantages: ✅ Optimized Energy Flow: Direct Current allows for a more efficient link between renewable energy generation, battery storage, and the vehicle. ✅ Modular Scalability: The Powerblock architecture decouples power conversion from the dispensing point. This allows for a "build-as-you-grow" strategy, where power capacity can be scaled using standardized industrial components without redesigning the entire site layout. ✅ Systemic Efficiency: Utilizing a hardware-agnostic approach with standardized parts ensures that the infrastructure remains flexible and resilient. It simplifies maintenance and streamlines the integration of charging loads into industrial energy management systems. This collaboration demonstrates how standardized industrial technology and intelligent control architectures can work together to create a high-performance, cost-efficient infrastructure ready for the DC-centric future. #PoweringASustainableFuture

  • 🚀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲   The rapid adoption of #AI is pushing data center infrastructure to a new level: higher performance, extreme power densities, and entirely new requirements for #Cooling and #PowerDistribution. At #Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, Rittal demonstrates how this transformation can be achieved in practice.   🔍 What you’ll see at our booth: IT infrastructure for 1 MW of AI computing power ⚡ We present a compact infrastructure module that tightly integrates compute power, water-based direct chip cooling, and power supply. Components that were traditionally planned and deployed separately are now combined into one standardized, scalable solution. ⚡ New architectures are moving power distribution closer to the IT. With so-called #Sidecar concepts, power infrastructure is integrated directly next to the server racks - reducing losses, increasing scalability, and laying the foundation for future DC-based power infrastructures.   📊 Did you know? With around 180,000 IT racks delivered annually and long-standing partnerships with global hyperscalers, Rittal is one of the key drivers shaping the global data center infrastructure landscape. 👉 Join us at DataCenter Global in Cannes and discover how standardized infrastructure enables the next generation of AI data centers.
