On 21 June, Numa is throwing open the doors of our Paris home on Rue Marbeuf 37 to celebrate Fête de la Musique — France's favourite day of the year when music takes over every street, courtyard and rooftop in the city. 🌍 Folco Brienza joined Numa in 2022, ready for a real change. What he found was the spark he had been looking for. When Folco first came across Numa, he knew something felt different. As he put it: “I was ready for a real change. I was looking for a spark, and I found it in Numa. It had this electric start-up energy I’d never experienced before. I wasn’t just joining a company, I was joining a movement to shake up hospitality, right here in Rome.” 🤝 What really stood out to him was the culture and the mindset people bring to their work: “It’s the Numa playbook,” Folco explained. “Own it. Team up. Respect always. I treat my job the same way I treated my professional sports career. You’re responsible for your own performance, but you only win when the team has your back. That’s exactly how it feels here.” #Worklifebalance is something Folco didn’t expect to find so naturally in hospitality: “Let’s be honest, work life balance in this industry can sound like a myth,” he said. “At Numa, it’s real. We work smart, not just hard. The tech and tools help us be effective during the day, and our leaders actually log off. That shows the team it’s okay to recharge. The goal is simple: do great work, then really enjoy your free time.” 🧩 Folco joined as a Junior Operations Manager in 2022, eager to learn. Two years later, he stepped into the role of Operations Manager, now leading the entire Rome portfolio with 7 properties and 250 units. As he summed it up: “This isn’t just my story, it’s the #Numa story. If you bring passion and drive, this company gives you the runway to grow.
