First the order. Then the grand debut. 🙌🏻 In 1971, a new chapter began for #KRONE in Werlte: the production of commercial vehicles. The first order came from the freight forwarding company Schröter: ten vehicles. This was not a theoretical market launch, but a direct response to a real-world need. This was followed shortly afterwards by an appearance at a trade fair: at the 1971 Hannover Messe, KRONE presented its complete range of lorry trailers, swap bodies and hydraulic cranes. Particularly interesting from today’s perspective: even back then, it wasn’t just about a single vehicle, but about variety for different transport tasks. 💡 The KRONE truck trailers were available in three basic types: two-axle, three-axle and semi-trailers with two or three axles. Various lengths, different tyres, up to 38 tonnes gross weight and intermediate lengths on request. What sounds obvious today was already a clear signal to the industry back then: transport needs solutions that fit the application. It is precisely this philosophy that continues to shape the commercial vehicle world to this day. Standardisation where it creates efficiency. Flexibility where it makes a difference in everyday life. 📢 Ten vehicles for Schröter became a range for the industry. And a new chapter in Werlte became a site that continues to shape KRONE’s trailer production to this day. When did you receive your first order for KRONE? Or is it perhaps still to come? 😉

10 Mega Liners with an external height of 4 metres and an internal height of 3 metres for a logistics provider that takes a holistic view of the process chain Hans Fischer Transport GmbH, based in Weilheim/Teck, does not view transport as a standalone service, but as part of a complex process chain. From warehouse logistics and freight forwarding to fulfilment, the company requires equipment that remains flexible in day-to-day operations and performs reliably. 🚛 💡 That is why 10 new #KRONE Mega Liners, featuring the tried-and-tested, highly stable 50-series neck, are joining the Fischer Logistics fleet. The trailers were delivered by rail. This is fitting for a company that visibly prioritises climate protection, sustainability, flexibility and quality. For us, this order is a good example of how modern vehicle logistics and practical trailer technology come together. Less road travel before the first deployment, greater efficiency in procurement, and vehicles that subsequently perform where it counts: in daily freight transport. Thank you to Hans Fischer Logistics for your trust. 🙌🏻

Downtime is often not caused by the damage itself but by what happens afterwards. 💡 In the transport sector, every hour counts. That is why spare parts supply is more than just logistics: it determines operational readiness, planning reliability and trust in day-to-day business. With KRONE Trusted, we rely on tested spare parts, clear processes and experienced contacts. 💪🏻

The cold chain is about more than just refrigeration. Temperature-controlled transport is one of the most complex areas of logistics. Even slight deviations can lead to a loss of quality or customer complaints. It is therefore not just the refrigeration unit that is crucial. What matters is the interplay between: ❄️ Insulation performance 🚚 Body construction ⚙️ Coordinated components 🌡️ Reliable refrigeration technology The KRONE Cool Liner features a highly insulated design and coordinated components that ensure constant conditions in the cargo area, even when outside temperatures fluctuate. This keeps the cold chain stable – a fundamental requirement for fresh produce, frozen goods and pharmaceutical products. That is why the cold chain is not just about cooling, but about maintaining the temperature. Consistently. Predictably. Reliably.

Electric mobility doesn’t stop at the fifth wheel. 🚛 💡 Electric trucks place new demands on the trailer. A shorter wheelbase can be a sensible approach to optimising load distribution in a targeted manner. From our perspective, however, it is just one factor within a larger interplay. At #KRONE, we view the trailer, electric tractor, load and operational profile as an integrated system. This is because axle load distribution, fifth-wheel offset, battery weight, chassis layout and loading all influence how efficiently a transport solution performs in everyday use. That is why KRONE trailers can already be configured to specific requirements – including variable wheelbases and solutions such as Dynamic Wheelbase Control. Shortened wheelbases are also possible if the transport task requires it.

📢 From agricultural trailers to the main location for trailer production. The history of #KRONE began in 1906 in Spelle. However, a particularly important milestone for KRONE Trailers took place in Werlte. 💡 The Werlte production has been part of KRONE’s history since 1964. Originally, agricultural trailers were manufactured here. The next major step in development followed in 1971: the production of commercial vehicles such as semi-trailers. And since then? 🧐 A lot has happened in Werlte. What began as a site for agricultural trailers has become the current main site for KRONE trailer production. Today, trailer solutions for the demands of modern logistics are developed here, drawing on extensive experience, technical innovation and a clear vision for the future. KRONE demonstrates that tradition and progress are not mutually exclusive. They build on one another. 💪🏻

Downtime doesn’t start on the road, but on the spare parts shelf. 📦 When a vehicle is out of action, it’s not just the spare part itself that counts, but how quickly, reliably and precisely it is available. 💡 This is exactly where #KRONE Trusted comes in: certified spare parts, clear processes and a network that supports fleet operators, workshops and drivers in their day-to-day operations. Because in transport, every hour counts. Reducing downtime not only boosts the fleet’s operational readiness but also enhances planning reliability in day-to-day operations. For us, it’s clear: spare parts are not a side issue. They are a decisive factor for efficiency, safety and reliability in everyday transport operations. What role does a rapid spare parts supply play in your fleet operations? 💬
