We’re happy to see ExoMatter featured in Startup Valley following our nomination for the VivaTech Female Founder Award. While we’re proud to be recognized among 444 startups from 85 countries, what matters even more is the visibility this brings to female founders in deep tech and AI. There is still a long way to go when it comes to representation, funding, and opportunities — which makes initiatives like this so important. A big thank you to VivaTech, François Bitouzet, and Startup Valley for highlighting these topics and supporting women building the next generation of technology. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/dF7y4SGb #WomenInTech #FemaleFounder #DeepTech #AI #ExoMatter #VivaTech

What makes screening halide perovskites for photovoltaics so challenging? We often see promising candidates early on, but exploring their vast chemical space to find application-ready materials is a slow and cumbersome task. A lot of it comes down to how efficiently said space can be explored and which constraints are dominant. This is something we work on closely with teams, either through our platform or in co-development projects. What’s been the most challenging part of screening perovskites in your work so far?

👀 Spotted in a Sabine Hossenfelder video. In one of her latest science news episode, she touches on something we care a lot about at ExoMatter: Material science is seriously underrated (and way more impactful than most people think). “There is a quiet revolution in material design that most of the world is entirely missing.” And we’re very much here for it. At ExoMatter, we’re helping R&D teams find and improve new materials faster. Thank you for the mention, Sabine!
