30 years of local impact. 20 years of global excellence. We brought our Finance Leadership Team to Budapest to celebrate two major milestones: the 20th anniversary of Roche in Budapest and the 30th anniversary of our affiliate Roche Hungary. During our week together, we connected with incredible talents, explored the role of digitalisation in Finance, and created space for real conversations about the future. What stayed with me most was the energy, ownership, and pride of our people. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us so openly and helped us experience what One Roche really looks like in action. What an incredible experience hosting the 2nd Global Service Center Forum at our Roche Costa Rica Campus! #AI at the core of GBS! CINDE - Experts in FDI, in collaboration with McKinsey & Company, 3M, BAC, Roche and Western Union, hosted the 2nd edition of the Global Service Center Forum. This year executives and global experts from the service industry came together to share real‑world pilots and practical lessons on how Global Business Centers can leverage AI to strengthen talent, optimize operations, and accelerate growth. The pace is fast—and #CostaRica is taking part in the global conversation. CINDE brought together teams from Roche, BAC, Western Union, 3M, and McKinsey & Company Hispanoamérica in a dedicated session to better understand how global shared services centers are evolving in #CostaRica and how companies are integrating automation and AI to transform their operations. Throughout the session, these companies exchanged experiences, insights, and implementation models that are already driving impact in productivity, innovation, and talent development. 6 Months in Costa Rica as General Manager RSS Americas! It’s been an incredible half year in my role as General Manager at Roche Services & Solutions in the Americas region. I’m so grateful for the amazing team here, from energizing Town Halls to casual chats in either halls or Coffee Corners, or our campus gym and an impactful session with People Leaders—it’s been a journey of learning and connection. I’ve also enjoyed building relationships with external stakeholders, like the German and Swiss Ambassadors, Government Organizations - opening doors for collaboration and opportunities. Outside work, I’m exploring this beautiful country. slowly improving my Spanish "poquito a poquito!", and settling into a routine with great weather. A huge thank-you to my Site Leadership Team and my global New Services & Solutions team for their constant support. 🌟 A Walk with Purpose: Roche Children's Walk 2025 🌟 It was truly incredible to see our Roche community come together as #ONERoche to make a meaningful impact during the Roche Children’s Walk! From walking together as RSS Americas, Pharma and Diagnostics colleagues and partners from our campus to Estado Nacional, to completing the mapped race track, every step we took symbolized our commitment to unity, purpose, and making a difference. The walk wasn’t just about movement; it was about momentum—momentum to champion children’s rights, healthcare, education, and basic needs across the globe. This initiative, as one of Roche's most significant global fundraising efforts, embodies our collective values and purpose. Together, we not only walked; we walked with purpose for the Children. For Costa Rica, we’re proud to share that all proceeds from our local walk will be directed toward Hogar Sol, an organization providing invaluable care and resources to children in need. Supporting their mission is an honor, and we look forward to seeing the impact of this collaboration in the lives of the children they serve. More fundraising activities for Children’s Walk are on the horizon as we amplify our efforts to give back.
