One platform, several configurations 🔧🛰️ LYOBA is not built for one mission, it is built for multiple of them. Its modular architecture lets us adapt the vehicle to different payloads, propellant loads and mission profiles without redesigning the core platform. Single large satellite to GEO? Batch of smaller spacecraft to MEO? Piggyback ride to the Moon? LYOBA adapts its mission profile, propellant load and payload adapter to match. This modularity is not just a technical feature, it is what makes the platform scalable. Same production line, same core systems, same verification approach, mission after mission. Last-mile satellite delivery: moving multi-ton payloads from LEO to any orbit within 24 hours. 🛰️
Info
PAVE Space is a Swiss company built on the success of the Gruyère Space Program, which developed Europe’s first reusable rocket demonstrator. Its expertise spans space propulsion, control algorithms, and rapid integration of complex systems. PAVE Space now targets last-mile satellite delivery, using its kickstage to move multi-ton payloads from low Earth orbit to any orbit within 24 hours.

3 months from paper to concrete 🏗️ We just finished the heavy construction work for our main engine test stand at the Chavalon site in the Swiss Alps. This is not just concrete and steel. The structure is designed to contain a worst case scenario, if any part of the engine fails catastrophically during a test, the walls hold. This level of resilience is critical, it protects nearby installations and gives us the confidence to push hardware to its limits, enabling faster iteration cycles between engine tests. Procurement and system installation are well underway. We are on track to bring the stand online by end of July. From rough concept to hardened test infrastructure in 3 months, built 20 minutes from our headquarters. LYOBA's engine programme just got its home 🇨🇭🔥 Join us → jobs.pave.space/jobs

Our first battleship TCA (Thrust Chamber Assembly) is taking shape. 🔥 A battleship engine is a common pathfinder in rocket engine development: a heavy, non-flight test article designed purely for iteration. Copper acts as a passive heat sink, removing the need for regenerative cooling channels entirely. This allows us to focus on what matters at this stage, ignition sequences and injector geometry. The design is modular, allowing us to test different combustion chamber volumes and configurations quickly before settling on the final geometry of the regeneratively cooled combustion chamber. Ready when you are 🚀 LYOBA runs on storable and green propellants, not cryogenics. This is a deliberate design choice that changes the way missions are planned, handled and flown. No boil off means no race against the clock. On the ground, LYOBA can be fuelled and stored for extended periods before launch, extensively simplifying pad operations. At the same time, during integration, storable propellants are safer and easier to handle compared to more traditional solutions, reducing operational complexity and cost. In orbit, the same advantage applies. No propellant slowly venting away means LYOBA can stay operational longer and be used exactly when and how it's needed, unlocking a wide range of missions and new capabilities for our customers. GRAZE, defying extreme cold and heat under vacuum🧊🔥 After passing vibration and shock testing in March, GRAZE has now completed its TVAC campaign. Thermal Vacuum testing places the payload inside a chamber that replicates the conditions of space, cycling between extreme cold and heat under hard vacuum, to verify that every component performs reliably in orbit. GRAZE is our first payload heading to space, designed, built and qualified in just 4 months. With both mechanical and thermal qualification behind us, the system is now ready for integration under the fairing of a SpaceX Falcon 9, set to fly in Q4 this year Join us → jobs.pave.space/jobs
