✨ What a momentum for #KinematicAlignment (KA) and its synergy with GMK SpheriKA, the first and only KA-optimized implant!   Cape Town in South Africa was the stage for the M.O.R.E. International Knee Symposium on Kinematic Alignment, held on May 5, organized by Advanced Orthopaedics South Africa with the support of Medacta International, and in conjunction with the South African Arthroplasty Society (SAAS) Annual Meeting. More than 100 orthopedic surgeons gathered for a full day of scientific exchange — covering the principles of the calipered KA technique, the clinical evidence, and how its combination with GMK SpheriKA has contributed to improving patient satisfaction.   A sincere thank you to Prof. Johan Bellemans, Dr. Stephen Howell, and Mr. Will Jackson for their outstanding contributions — and for the networking sessions and Meet the Expert opportunities that made this a significant step forward for the KA community on the African continent. And it didn't stop there: throughout the week, participants had further opportunities to put theory into practice through dedicated Learning Center sessions.   As pioneers of Kinematic Alignment, we recognized early on that achieving the best possible outcomes requires more than a single element — it relies on the synergy of muscle- and tissue-sparing approaches, optimized implants, dedicated instruments, and personalized technologies working together to enable faster recovery, improved functional outcomes, and greater patient satisfaction. This is what we call The ART of Knee Replacement.   This vision becomes real in the hands of the surgeon. The M.O.R.E. Institute is where surgeons gain the knowledge, confidence, and support to adopt every element consistently — from first exposure to continuous refinement, through direct exchange with world-renowned Faculty, hands-on practice, and a global community of experts.   ➡️ If you are a healthcare professional, contact us to find out about our educational opportunities: https://lnkd.in/dDzrQaBm

✨ Thank you to all participants and Faculty members who joined us for the 589th M.O.R.E. AMIS Learning Center, held May 7–8 in Cremona. Two days of in-depth insights on the AMIS (Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery) technique. Participants explored its principles, clinical benefits, and practical application in hip arthroplasty through theory sessions, clinical discussion, and a hands-on wetlab session. A special thanks to our distinguished Faculty for sharing their expertise and commitment: 👨⚕️ Prof. Naeder Helmy, Switzerland 👨⚕️ Mr Mark Higgins, United Kingdom 👨⚕️ Dr. Pascal Vie.Pascal, France This year, Medacta celebrates more than 20 years of pioneering anterior surgery — two decades of continuous development and refinement of the AMIS technique, supported by strong clinical evidence and a global network of experts. Over time, AMIS has continuously evolved to encompass advanced procedures, such as no capsular release, bikini incision, and revision total hip arthroplasty, all supported by dedicated instruments and comprehensive training pathways with the aim of delivering measurable benefits to patients, surgeons, and healthcare systems. A foundation that now supports our broader commitment to advancing minimally invasive hip surgery across all approaches.  Through the M.O.R.E. Institute, we support surgeons with tailored, high-level educational pathways, making advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques accessible and reproducible worldwide. ➡️ If you are a healthcare professional, contact us to find out about our educational opportunities: https://lnkd.in/dDzrQaBm
