Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and INSEAD just dropped a new report, “Delivering the Energy Transformation: Powered by Competitiveness, Paced by Trust”, which confirms how Holcim is leading the way in the clean energy transition. “Holcim illustrates how decarbonization and circularity can become a source of profitable growth when companies rethink their entire value chain. From concept to construction in just six months: a blueprint for scaling low-carbon innovation. 🤝 Together with Paebbl and GOLDBECK, Holcim Süddeutschland GmbH, Holcim recently successfully delivered the first industrial floor slab in Germany using Paebbl’s carbon-storing supplementary cementitious material (SCM) in ready-mix concrete at commercial scale. Europe’s largest 3D-printed residential building, ViliaSprint², has Holcim inside. The developer, Plurial Novilia, chose Holcim to develop a custom fiber-reinforced TectorPrint concrete ink. This enabled the 3D printing of load-bearing walls – a first at this scale. By placing material only where it is needed, 3D concrete printing fundamentally changes the construction process, significantly reducing material use. Our message to shareholders today at the Holcim 2026 Annual General Meeting was clear: Holcim’s NextGen Growth 2030 strategy is in full execution. Alongside our Chairman, Kim Fausing, and CFO, Steffen Kindler, I shared how we are driving superior, profitable growth. All proposals are strongly supported, including a dividend of CHF 1.70, which is exempt from Swiss withholding tax. With this, we move forward with a powerful mandate for the year ahead based on the transformational foundation of 2025 where we hit every target:   Excellent Performance: We accelerated recurring EBIT growth in local currency to 10.3% and generated CHF 2.2 bn in free cash flow. Attractive market investments: We closed 21 value-accretive transactions, including the milestone acquisition of Xella to lead in building systems and recently completed our majority stake in Cementos Pacasmayo. Unlocking the potential of AI: We’re harnessing AI across Production, Logistics, Commercial and Administration to unlock growth and value creation. What makes me particularly proud? Behind each of these highlights are the more than 45 000 people who work for Holcim, with their impeccable execution and performance culture.
