  • RIP LinkedIn & Indeed 💀 Smart candidates are using AI prompts like these to land interviews 5x faster. (Recruiters don’t even realize it… yet 👀) 1️⃣ Resume Optimizer Prompt: “Act as a senior recruiter at a Fortune 500 company who reviews 200+ resumes a week. Role I'm targeting: [JOB TITLE + INDUSTRY]   My current resume: [PASTE RESUME]   Job description: [PASTE JD] Rewrite my resume so it: • Passes ATS filters for this specific role   • Leads every bullet with a strong action verb   • Quantifies achievements (add placeholders like [X%] if I haven't shared numbers)   • Removes fluff and buzzwords that add zero value   • Fits on 1 page (or 2 if 10+ years of experience) Flag the top 3 things that would make a recruiter skip my profile instantly.” 2️⃣ LinkedIn Profile Optimizer Prompt: “Act as a LinkedIn strategist who has helped 500+ professionals get inbound recruiter messages. My target role: [JOB TITLE]   My industry: [INDUSTRY]   My current headline: [PASTE HEADLINE]   My current About section: [PASTE ABOUT] Rewrite my LinkedIn profile so it: • Has a headline that shows value, not just a job title   • Opens the About section with a hook in the first 2 lines   • Uses keywords recruiters search for in this field   • Tells a clear career story   • Ends with a soft CTA Also, give me 3 banner ideas for my personal brand.” 3️⃣ Interview Prep Coach Prompt: “Act as a tough hiring manager conducting a final-round interview. Generate: • 5 behavioral questions tailored to this JD   • 3 technical questions   • 2 culture-fit curveball questions After I answer: • Score my response from 1–10   • Tell me what to improve   • Rewrite a stronger answer using my background Start with Phase 1 only.” 4️⃣ LinkedIn Networking Message Prompt: “Act as a networking coach who knows how to build real professional relationships. Write: 1. A cold connection message   2. A warm networking message   3. A follow-up after no reply Rules: • No robotic openers   • Make it about them   • One simple ask   • Sound human.” 5️⃣ Cover Letter Writer Prompt: “Act as a hiring manager reading 100+ cover letters. Role: [JOB TITLE + COMPANY]   Job description: [PASTE JD]   My background: [PASTE RESUME] Write a cover letter that: • Hooks attention in the first 3 lines   • Shows alignment with the role   • Focuses on results   • Sounds natural, not AI-generated Keep it under 250 words.” Most people use AI to do less work. Smart candidates use AI to produce better work faster. That’s the difference. Some of these prompts are overpowered.   Some are honestly overrated 👀 Which one would you actually use? Drop your hot take

  • AI tools for job search 🤖 These tools can save you HOURS during your job hunt (Most people only use ChatGPT 👇) ChatGPT → Resume bullet points → Cold emails → Interview answers → LinkedIn optimization Best for: overall job search support Teal → Resume optimization → Job tracking → ATS keyword matching Best for: organized applications Kickresume → AI resume builder → Cover letters → Professional templates Best for: fast resume creation Claude → Long-form writing → Personalized outreach → Deep resume edits Best for: detailed applications Perplexity → Company research → Salary insights → Interview prep research Best for: fast information gathering Most people use AI incorrectly. They copy-paste generic prompts and wonder why they get rejected. Smart candidates use AI to: ✔ Save time ✔ Improve clarity ✔ Customize applications ✔ Practice interviews ✔ Increase output But remember: AI helps you stand out faster. It cannot replace: → strategy → networking → communication skills AI won’t get you hired alone.
But people using AI properly will outperform people who don’t. Some of these tools are overhyped. Some are genuinely underrated 👀 Drop your hot take below. Do you agree with the ranking? 👇

  • In today’s North American market, a structured, referral-focused approach works better than mass applications. Recruiters often review candidates quietly before roles gain heavy traction, and referrals significantly increase callback rates. Here’s a 45-day job search plan you can follow step by step.

  • 4 immigration + economic updates you should know 👇 1️⃣ Quebec fast-tracks PR for workers https://lnkd.in/edpAhWVV → Faster PR processing introduced → Targets workers with expiring permits → Goal: retain labour force in Quebec Big signal: Canada still needs workers, especially those already inside the country. 2️⃣ Wholesale sales rise in March https://lnkd.in/eXm2fTpv → Statistics Canada reported growth → Key sectors helped boost activity → Economy showing moderate resilience Not every sector is slowing. Some industries are still actively growing. 3️⃣ Alberta launches new rural permit pathway https://lnkd.in/eWS8WqhM → New pathway for rural communities → Focus on labour shortages → Supports long-term retention This means: Smaller communities may become easier pathways for work permits + PR. 4️⃣ Canada uses immigration to fill the trades gap https://lnkd.in/e_X9zedB → Construction demand is increasing → Skilled trades shortages remain severe → Trades-based immigration likely to expand Trades are becoming one of the strongest pathways in Canada right now. What this means for you 👇 ✔ More regional immigration pathways ✔ More focus on workers already in Canada ✔ Skilled trades becoming even more valuable ✔ Provinces competing for labour The people paying attention to policy changes early… usually move faster than everyone else. P.S. Which province are you targeting right now? 👇

  • How my brain feels applying for jobs 😵💫 Open tabs everywhere. LinkedIn Indeed Workday Job Bank Emails Resume edits ATS checkers Interview prep Cold emails …and somehow still no reply 💀 Job hunting in 2026 feels like a full-time job itself Especially when: → every application takes 30 mins → every company uses a different portal → every role has 1000+ applicants That’s why strategy matters more than volume now. Instead of only mass applying: ✔ Optimize your resume ✔ Apply early ✔ Network with recruiters ✔ Use referrals ✔ Follow up Because 500 random applications ≠ 5 strategic ones P.S. How many tabs do you currently have open for job hunting? 👇

    • How my brain feels applying for jobs
  • If you’re looking for government jobs 🇨🇦   This is where to find them… Most people only use LinkedIn.  That’s a mistake.  Good 👇  A general Canadian job board can be a starting point for government roles.  But many listings are:   → outdated   → reposted   → low quality  Which makes it harder to find real opportunities.  Better 👇  The official Canadian Job Bank   (jobbank.gc.ca)  More reliable.   More legitimate postings.  But here’s the downside:  → Hiring processes are VERY slow   → Some roles take months to close  Best 👇  Informal Facebook communities  Why?  Because you can:   → Connect directly with hiring managers   → Find opportunities before they’re public   → Network with people already inside government  I personally landed 2 government roles using this strategy.  So how do you find these groups?  Go to Google and search:   “government informal Facebook communities”  Most people only apply.  Smart candidates build connections first.  Government jobs are competitive.  Visibility matters more than people think.  P.S. Have you ever used Facebook groups for job hunting? 👇  👉 Download the Job Hunt Cheat Sheet   (for outreach templates + tools)  https://lnkd.in/e5FtnZEP

  • Salaries in Canada 🇨🇦 vs USA 🇺🇸 Same roles… very different pay (This is why many people aim for USD jobs 👇) Data Analyst Canada: CA$65K – $90K USA: $85K – $120K Software Engineer Canada: CA$88K – $133K USA: $130K – $180K Business Analyst Canada: CA$70K – $110K USA: $78K – $120K Project Manager Canada: CA$75K – $105K USA: $90K – $130K Cloud Engineer Canada: CA$109K USA: $135K – $152K AI Engineer Canada: CA$130K USA: $147K – $185K What this means: → US salaries are consistently higher → Tech roles show the biggest gap → Same skills… different market value This is why more candidates are: → Applying to US companies → Targeting remote USD roles → Building global careers But here’s the catch: Higher pay = higher competition So you need: → Strong resume → Proof of work → Smart outreach Same effort. Different strategy.
Very different salary. P.S. Would you work remotely for a US company? 👇

  • What a job listing says… vs what they actually mean 👀 (Read between the lines 👇) Most job descriptions sound great on paper But if you know how to read them… they tell a very different story “Fast-paced environment” ⚡ → We are understaffed, and you’ll be doing 3 jobs 😵💫 “Competitive salary” 💰 → We won’t tell you the number until round 4 😵💫 “Must be a self-starter” 🧍♂️ → No training. Figure it out yourself 😓 “Wear many hats” 🧢 → Your job description = everything 😬 “2 years experience required” ⏰ → We still might ghost you 👻 “We’re like a family here” 🧑🧑🧒🧒 → Boundaries? What boundaries 😵 Here’s the truth: Job descriptions are written to attract you Not always to inform you So what should you do? → Ask questions in interviews → Clarify expectations → Get details on salary early → Understand team structure Don’t just apply.
Evaluate the company too. P.S. What’s the biggest red flag you’ve seen? 👇

  • I only had 30 days to find a job These 5 websites made the difference (Most people don’t use them 👇) If you’re applying and not hearing back… It’s not just your resume It’s your tool stack Here’s what actually worked 👇 Rezi → Build ATS-optimized resumes → Improve keywords instantly → Increase interview chances Interviewer.ai → Practice with AI feedback → Improve answers + confidence → Simulate real interviews CareerBuilder → Search across industries → Get discovered by employers → Access salary insights SimplyHired → Aggregated job listings → Compare salaries → Apply faster Snov.io → Find recruiter emails → Send cold emails at scale → Automate follow-ups Most people: → Apply manually → Don’t practice interviews → Never reach out Smart candidates: → Optimize resume → Practice daily → Use outreach Tools don’t get you the job, but they give you an unfair advantage 30 days is enough If you use the right strategy P.S. Which one are you using right now? 👇 👉 Free Job Hunt Courses: https://lnkd.in/eBa5Ra3c
