  • 🤖 Weekly UX Poll: Which AI capability are you most interested in trying? AI is rapidly changing how designers research, ideate, and test their work. From speeding up wireframing to uncovering deeper user insights, there are countless ways AI can support the UX process. If you could try one AI-powered capability in your design workflow today, which would you choose? We’d love to hear what excites you most and how you think it could improve your design process. 💬 Cast your vote below and share your thoughts in the comments! We host UX/UI polls like this every week inside the IterateUX Discord community, where designers discuss trends, get feedback on their work, and connect with others in the industry. • Big thank you to Pushkar P. for an incredibly practical session on designing AI-powered product experiences. The focus was AI Feature Augmentation. Not replacing products, but enhancing them. Participants learned how to: • Identify meaningful AI opportunities • Design real workflows (Input → AI → Output) • Turn ideas into tangible product concepts This is the kind of thinking that bridges the gap between theory and real-world product design. We really appreciate your hands-on and practical approach to this workshop 🙌

  • AI is reshaping the way designers work but what does that mean for UX careers? Will AI replace UX roles, or will it become another tool that helps designers work faster and focus on higher-value tasks? We’d love to hear your thoughts. Vote in the poll and share your perspective below. If any of you believe AI will have no major impact, let us know in the comments. • Huge thanks to Letícia Braga Maestri for leading a 2-part workshop on AI for Research & Problem Framing. AI-UX Design Challenge Participants learned how to: • Conduct meaningful research without relying blindly on AI • Identify real user problems and behaviors • Understand AI risks, boundaries, and opportunities This session helped teams move from surface-level thinking to deeper, more intentional problem framing. Grateful for the clarity and depth you brought to the challenge, Letícia! 🙌 #UXResearch #AIUX #ProductDesign #DesignThinking

  • Big thank you to Mike Donahue for leading yesterday’s workshop, The AI Job To Be Done (JTBD), for our AI-UX Design Challenge cohort. Mike did a fantastic job helping participants understand how to use JTBD and Kano Analysis to determine the right experience to build before focusing on building it right. He also guided the group in identifying where AI can meaningfully enhance an experience, grounding decisions in user needs rather than chasing technology. Participants walked away with a practical framework for identifying AI opportunities, reducing risk, and designing with stronger intent. We’re grateful for your time, insight, and generosity in sharing your expertise with our community, Mike. 🙏 #UXDesign #AIUX #JobsToBeDone #DesignChallenge #UXCommunity #ArtificialIntelligence

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been deep in conversations… Brainstorming sessions. Back-and-forth discussions. Challenging ideas with mentors and speakers. All with one goal: 👉 How do we create a learning experience that actually reflects what designing for AI looks like in the real world? Not theory. Not surface-level tools. But how #designers #think, #decide, and #design is uncertain. And honestly… I’ve loved every part of this process 💛 The way we’ve shaped each workshop around real industry needs The way our mentors brought practical, hands-on perspectives The way every week builds toward something designers can truly feel proud of This is not just another challenge. It’s something we’ve carefully crafted for designers to walk away with work they can confidently showcase. ✨ Meet the amazing mentors and speakers who will lead the #workshop and shape your experience over the next 6 weeks 🎙️ Mike Donahue The AI Job To Be Done (JTBD) → Learn how to identify where AI actually belongs in a product and make better, evidence-based decisions 🎙️ Letícia Braga Maestri AI for Research & Problem Framing: Insights, Risks & Opportunities (Part 1 & 2) → Use AI thoughtfully in research without losing critical thinking or user focus 🎙️ Pushkar P. AI Feature Augmentation: Designing Practical AI Experiences in Real Products → Design AI as an enhancement layer, not a replacement—grounded in real workflows 🎙️ Rodrigo Engell The Architect’s Inquiry: Orchestrating AI Agents for System Prototyping → Move from ideas to intelligent systems using structured AI prompting and logic 🎙️ Padma Shetye (my self ☺️) From Work to Wow: Crafting a Portfolio-Ready AI Case Study & Presentation → Turn your project into a compelling story that stands out in interviews  👉Register now for AI-UX Design challenge: https://lnkd.in/gqgTuVwc #AIUX #ProductDesign #UXDesign #DesignChallenge #AIinDesign #UXCommunity #PortfolioDesign #DesignCareers #HumanAI #IterateUX

  • "What do I actually get after 6 weeks?" It’s the # 1 question we get. Here’s the answer: You don't just get a certificate. You get a high-signal portfolio piece that proves you can handle the "invisible" UX of AI. Check out the carousel for the 5 specific artifacts you'll add to your portfolio. 👇 Only 36 hours left to join the cohort. Register now: https://lnkd.in/ggg_fCx9

AI isn’t a feature you tack on. It’s a behavior you intentionally design. And that shift demands a new kind of thinking: - Knowing when AI should act vs. when it should assist - Designing for confidence, not just output - Building systems people can trust, even when the model gets things wrong This is where product design is moving. Yet most designers are still focused on the UI layer. That gap is exactly why we built the AI‑UX Design Challenge at IterateUX to help designers step into system‑level thinking. A focused, mentor‑led experience where you will: - Design AI systems end‑to‑end - Navigate trade‑offs, risks, and edge cases - Build a case study that reflects real product decision‑making Because in the AI era, execution is expected, but judgment is what sets you apart. 👉 Join us https://lnkd.in/gqgTuVwc #DesignLeadership #AIUX #ProductDesign #UXStrategy #FutureOfWork #UXDesign
