Thank you to everyone who made Evok’s 2026 LP Summit in Vancouver such a success! Today we’re excited to share that Google has signed a prepurchase agreement for 3,500 tons of carbon removal from Ebb. 🌊Coming right after our partnership with the Saudi Water Authority, the world’s largest desalination operator, this milestone reinforces our approach: leverage existing infrastructure + deliver partner value = scalable carbon removal. Desalination represents a billion-tonne carbon removal opportunity. By integrating with Ebb, partners gain operational and economic benefits, and Ebb can scale carbon removal quickly and responsibly — and deliver high-quality carbon removal to customers like Google. With our SWA deployment targeting megatonnes of annual CO₂ removal capacity, we're building the supply infrastructure to meet growing demand from corporations like Google that are serious about their climate goals. Why is it so hard for the US to get urban mining right? The allure of “urban mining” — extracting critical minerals from what could be a massive above-ground deposit, sitting in junk drawers, scrap yards, and tailing piles — is self-evident.
