Their stubbornness inspired ours. It’s what led us to create the new Stubbornly Good campaign for our ACANA™ brand. It celebrates the real, messy, funny moments that come with pet life and reflects how firmly we say “no” to shortcuts, compromises or anything less than high-quality ingredients. The campaign videos highlight the real and relatable moments of life with pets. The humor, the imperfections and the deep connection behind it all. Happy Earth Day! 🌎 How are you and your four-legged friends connecting with nature today? Our 40-year journey at Champion Petfoods has always been about making the best food for pets. Today, we know that fulfilling that mission is more deeply connected than ever to our shared responsibility for the planet. Now, as part of Mars, we are proud to share a long-term belief in building a healthier planet for generations to come. Earth Day also reminds us of the simple joy that nature brings to our lives, especially when we experience it alongside our pets. Whether it’s a walk on a favorite trail or time spent exploring a new park, these moments deepen the bond we share with our animals and reinforce why caring for the planet matters. 💚 Our teams have been celebrating that connection over the year by getting outside together and with their own pets. Our Associates have also volunteered to remove invasive plants near our Kitchen in Canada 🌱, collect native seeds near our Colorado office, and even create "bee bombs" 🐝 to help grow native flower species that support bee populations. These activities reflect the spirit of Earth Day and the values that guide our work all year long. We celebrate Earth Day today, and our responsibility continues every day. We are excited to announce that Travis Reaves has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Champion Petfoods. Reaves joins Champion from our Mars Pet Nutrition business. He brings extensive experience in strategy, finance, revenue growth management and transformation in both global and regional roles. His background across portfolios and geographies, along with a people-focused leadership style and a passion for building high-performing teams, positions him to help Champion strengthen its business and deliver for pets and pet lovers around the world.
