At aetherEV 🇨🇦, we hire for execution. We’ve just strengthened our bench — again. We’re excited to welcome Arvin Minocha as SVP, Global Partnerships. Arvin brings deep EV charging and energy transition experience across Europe and Canada, where he has led partnerships, market expansion, and commercial growth within a leading integrated energy platform. He’s known for turning strategy into execution — and building the kinds of partnerships that scale. At aetherEV, Arvin will help lead and accelerate global commercial relationships as we expand across key markets. His mandate is simple: unlock high-value partnerships that convert underutilized curbside infrastructure into measurable ROI for our retail and real estate partners. Everyone else sees pavement. We see yield. 📈 Arvin knows how to unlock it. #WELCOME to aetherEV 🇨🇦, Arvin — let’s build. 🦫

Attention Property Managers! Stratas! Property Developers! Not all EV charging experiences are created equal. If your current provider has gone under… Or you’re struggling with: • Inability to adjust pricing for residents or tenants • No way to incentivize off-peak charging • Limited or frustrating backend software • Poor uptime or unreliable service You’re not alone. We’re increasingly hearing from strata councils, property managers, and asset owners who feel stuck with infrastructure that looks installed—but isn’t truly working for them. Here’s the good news: you may not need to replace your hardware. If your chargers are built on OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), there’s a high likelihood we can integrate them into the aetherEV platform. That means: • Flexible pricing control • Smart energy management (including off-peak incentives) • Reliable remote access and monitoring • A more intuitive, modern software experience • Near 100% uptime performance In short: you keep the hardware—upgrade everything that matters. We believe EV charging should work for you—operationally and economically. If this sounds familiar, we’re happy to take a look and see if we can help. 📩 Feel free to reach out at info@aetherEV.com

When my husband and I went scuba diving in the Red Sea (many moons ago) we were struck by the absolute abundance of beauty and colours of the fish and the coral on one side of the sea and areas of complete utter destruction and”deadness” of annihlated coral and lack of marine life on another. This utterly shattered area of grey coral rubble had been bombed to oblivion by supposed “fisherman” “fishing” by throwing hand grenades and other explosives into the sea. It was gut-wrenching to dive and see the disparing contrast of the stunningly vibrant and healthy habitat nature had provided next to the miles of nothingness housing and nurturing nothing - a destructive underwater ghost town that laid tribute to the horrifically short-sighted practice of “dynamite fishing.” This video of Sylvia Earle speaking on marine life at #Davos gives me hope that we can learn to nurture these reefs and protect the mighty creatures who call them home. Hers appears to be a life living on point and sounding the alarm. Thank you to my new contact, Johann Hoschtialek for posting this. After all, #life is all connected with #Mother #nature. Best not to piss her off.
There has never been a better time to make a difference, says celebrated oceanographer @Sylvia Earle. Over her long career, she has seen first-hand the destruction humanity has wrought on the natural world, including the #ocean - but she remains optimistic. We know what we need to do to save the planet, and we have the tools to do it, Earle says. ‘Mobilise that power. Step up. Knowing it's possible is what I find exhilarating.’ Sylvia Earle is a member of the World Economic Forum initiative Friends of Ocean Action. She was a guest on Radio Davos, the World Economic Forum’s podcast. You can watch the full episode here: https://ow.ly/kgGT50XU4tB Under the theme ‘A Spirit of Dialogue’, the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, from 19-23 January 2026, will gather voices from across sectors and regions – from heads of state to young changemakers – to build trust and develop solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Today’s speech at Davos from Mark Carney will become the standard in which the argument for Sovereignty will be based upon. His speech clearly articulates why the drive for Canadian sovereignty, both physically and economically, is the pathway for the future of Canada. The world has awoken to the realization that the post World War II period of peace and prosperity for the last 80 years will become a blip in our world history. We are witnessing the dismantling of a globalized world. We are witnessing a world in which those countries with great power will do what they want to do because they can. For the rest of the world, while this is both scary and daunting, we can overcome. Canada must first focus in on its own backyard and fix what has weakened us over the last few decades. While the world will be re-ordered,there is an opportunity for Canada to establish new and trusted alliances. Mark Carney so very clearly laid out the challenges Canada and the world is facing. Now, it’s time for action. Let’s take the signs out of the window NOW! https://lnkd.in/gw6i4-dq
