The Upgrade and Support Plan
Maximize the value of your Boris FX purchase with the Upgrade and Support Plan
Designed to make upgrading and budgeting for Sapphire, Continuum, CrumplePop, Mocha Pro, Silhouette, SynthEyes, Optics, Sequoia, Samplitude and Music Studio more convenient, the Upgrade and Support Plan is an annual program that ensures you have access to the latest available features, increased licensing flexibility, and the support you need.ย Each purchase of a perpetual license or an upgrade includes a free 12-month Upgrade and Support contract. The benefits of this plan are detailed below:
Automatic upgrades: Never fall behind on a Sapphire, Continuum, CrumplePop, Mocha Pro, Silhouette, SynthEyes,Optics, Sequoia, Samplitude or Music Studio release again! Active Upgrade and Support customers are automatically entitled to all upgrades released during their 12-month contract which begins from the date of purchase.
Full Phone and Email Support: Upgrade and Support customers have unlimited access to phone and email support during business hours.
Automatic Renewals: Don’t ever worry about your Boris FX Upgrade and Support Plan lapsing with automated renewals for Sapphire, Continuum, CrumplePop, Mocha Pro, Silhouette, SynthEyes, Optics, Sequoia, Samplitude and Music Studio.ย Your Upgrade and Support plan will automatically renew at least 24 hours before the expiration of your contract and you will be notified via email of an upcoming automatic renewal 30 days prior. You can always manage and cancel automated billing by going to your Boris FX account settings after purchase.
Floating licenses: Floating licenses are pooled licenses that can be shared across a group of users. Floating licenses are available* for annual subscription licenses only* for a flat discounted fee of $500. A minimum of 5 annual subscription licenses per product are required to upgrade to floating. VM or physical server with a USB dongle options are available. Please contact sales@borisfx.com for more information.
Easier Budgeting:ย The yearly fixed cost allows for clearer planning and budgeting.
Perpetual Licenses: All perpetual licenses include a complimentary 12-month Upgrade and Support contract and remain functional even if the Upgrade and Support contract expires. Upgrade and Support must be renewed at the time of expiration (including a 30-day grace period), and lapsed contracts are subject to reinstatement fees. Contracts not renewed within 36 months of the original expiration date are permanently canceled and cannot be reinstated, requiring the purchase of a new license or subscription to access the latest product versions.
