Tire-to-tire circularity just moved further into production. Pirelli North America has announced the group's first closed-loop tire recycling initiative, developed in collaboration with Bolder Industries. The system converts Pirelli's own North American manufacturing scrap into ISCC PLUS-certified, traceable BolderBlack® recovered carbon black for use in new tire production. What's being proven in North America is exactly what Bolder is building toward at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges — a European-scale circular feedstock solution for tire and rubber manufacturers who need traceable, qualified rCB integrated into their supply chains. About us
Bolder Industries is leading the NextGen Thermal Tire Re-use project (N2TR), co-funded by the EU Innovation Fund. Located at the Port of Antwerp, the new facility will convert approximately 6 million end-of-life tires each year into sustainable raw materials—BolderBlack®, BolderOil™, and gas—recovering 98% of each tire. This circular process reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 85% and supports Europe’s climate goals, energy independence, and industrial resilience.

As circular materials scale globally, the industry needs venues that connect technical progress with commercial adoption. The Global Polymer Summit (GPS) has announced a dedicated Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) Symposium (Louisville, KY | Sept. 28–30, 2026), chaired by Dave Abdallah and supported by Weibold – Tire Recycling & Pyrolysis Consulting. The program will spotlight rCB growth and welcomes tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) topics, recognizing the role of commercialization in strengthening the broader tire pyrolysis value chain. Bolder Industries will be participating alongside industry leaders. N2TR was featured in a Rockwell Automation ROKStudios interview, where Bolder Industries CEO Tony Wibbeler discusses how circular manufacturing can scale from transforming end-of-life tires into high-value materials to delivering measurable environmental and industrial outcomes. As the Port of Antwerp-Bruges International project moves closer to buildout, automation and digital infrastructure will be essential to operating efficiently, resiliently, and at scale. Rockwell Automation will play a role in that journey as N2TR advances from design to delivery, building on the collaboration established across Bolder’s U.S. operations. 🔗 Hear Bolder’s perspective on scaling circular manufacturing: https://lnkd.in/eQ8Y24hA #N2TR #CircularManufacturing #IndustrialAutomation #FutureOfIndustry #InnovationFund CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency

At Bolder Industries, circularity comes full circle. The construction of our new N2TR facility at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges International will use the very materials we produce: BolderBlack® in asphalt, paint, conveyor belts, and flooring, and BolderOil™ in industrial coatings and compounds. By integrating our own sustainable, traceable products into the build itself, N2TR becomes a living example of industrial circularity in action — where end-of-life tires return to the economy as valuable raw materials powering the next generation of manufacturing. 🎥 Watch how: https://lnkd.in/gC-t7qjc And if you're not already following us on X and YouTube: https://x.com/N2TR_Bolder https://lnkd.in/g3QtQYvf Co-funded by the Innovation Fund, CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency #BolderIndustries #N2TR #CircularEconomy #SustainableManufacturing #InnovationFund #PortofAntwerp #BolderBlack #BolderOil #CircularConstruction #Traceability #CleanIndustry
