More time, more confidence, more action. They're just three benefits that Ratanui Lodge is reaping from SiteMinder's UltraSync, which the beachside property's general manager describes "has simplified the way I manage my rates and, as a result, how often I update them". Since its launch last year, SiteMinder's UltraSync has taken connectivity to a new level, so hotels can move at the speed of the markets they serve, with greater control and precision. We're delighted about the material impact it's already having on the daily lives of our customers. And, the best part? It's just the start. The capability is live for our mutual hotel customers with Oracle Hospitality and will be soon for those we share with our partners at Cloudbeds, with Mews and RMS to follow. Can hotels future-proof their tech stack by chasing every new tool? Our own Michael Kinloch says no. Michael took to the stage at INN Tech 2026, joining leaders from THSA - Hotel Advisors, Honeywell, Infor and ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Australia, to discuss how hotels can navigate AI, automation and rising guest expectations. Speaking about the risks, Michael says: "AI without a strategy is just tech debt and cost." His perspective is an important one. Hotels don't need more complexity layered onto already fragmented systems. They need tech that's simpler, more connected and designed to support the people using it every day. With hotel teams already stretched, the role of AI should be to reduce manual work, build confidence and make the next best action clearer - not harder to find.

Growth is one thing; growth with real clarity of purpose is another. From a small portfolio in 2017 to 1,000+ units across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, Urban Rest has built a standout model for corporate accommodation. But as the business has expanded, so has the complexity behind the scenes. With a growing mix of markets, asset types and guest segments to manage, Urban Rest has focused on building a distribution strategy with SiteMinder that supports scale and drives revenue. The result: a 51% year-on-year revenue uplift between January and March. A clear example of what happens when the right strategy and technology come together. Manila delivered 🇵🇭 We took over Penthouse No. 66 at Grand Hyatt Manila and spent the afternoon unpacking where hotel revenue management is headed, especially in the Philippines. emergent Manila brought together some of the brightest and most curious minds in Philippine hospitality for a lively session, and we can't thank our partners IDeaS Revenue Solutions, TrustYou and Agilysys enough for making it happen. Topping it off was our fireside chat with Sunish Sadasivan, Vice President of E-Commerce and Revenue Management at Chroma Hospitality. Sunish brought the room to attention with grounded expertise and best practices that speak to exactly what the industry needs as the pace of change accelerates. Manila’s hospitality scene has never been more alive. On to Ho Chi Minh City, for the next stop on our emergent roadshow 🪷 🇻🇳

What a day in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 ✨ A massive thank you to the hoteliers who joined us for the emergent roadshow stop in Malaysia last week, where SiteMinder, IDeaS Revenue Solutions and Shiji Group came together to unpack what's shaping hotel performance across the region in 2026. Three themes kept coming up throughout the day: The speed gap - why acting on the right information, at the right moment, is becoming the defining factor in hotel revenue performance. Shifting demand patterns - how traveller behaviour and source markets across Asia are evolving, and why visibility and channel strategy have never mattered more. AI in practice - what it actually looks like when intelligence is embedded in the tools hoteliers use every day. The energy in the room made it clear: Malaysia's hospitality industry is ready to compete on sharper commercial thinking. We loved seeing how quickly these ideas turned into questions, debates and next steps for your teams. Next stop: Manila 🇵🇭

Meet the people behind 20 years of SiteMinder. 💙 All throughout this year, we're celebrating 20 years of SiteMinder empowering the world's hotels, marking the milestone by telling the stories of the people who've helped shape our journey from start-up to the world's most awarded hotel platform. Lucía Elso Pérez joined SiteMinder in 2013 as a Sales Executive in London, one of just a handful of people on a team that would grow into something far bigger. More than 13 years on, she's a Senior BDM working remotely from Madrid and one of the people who helped put SiteMinder on the map in Spain. Back then, the challenge was real. Key OTAs for the Spanish market weren't connected, booking engines were limited, and the platform was English-only in a market where that mattered. "We were missing important connections, but the progress was massive. Non-stop investment and progress. We were conquering the world with channel management." Lucia rose through the ranks steadily, earning promotions, before eventually stepping into an acting Regional Sales Manager role in late 2024 a year-long stretch that added a new dimension to an already well-rounded career. Now back in sales, she's doing what she's always done best: building pipeline and converting opportunities. Lucia’s proudest moment? Closing one of the most complex group deals of her career in 2024. But ask her what she values most and the answer is simpler than a single deal. "I have clients from ages ago that still know me and trust me." For Lucia, SiteMinder has been more than an employer. It's been a sales school, a launchpad and something close to home. "I feel SiteMinder is kind of my baby. I am so proud. I feel I am a small part of it." What keeps her going after more than a decade? A company that never stands still and one that looks after the people who've helped build it. As we mark this 20-year milestone, Lucia's story is a reminder that SiteMinder's reach across the world has always been built on relationships, one market and one client at a time. 👏 Please join us in celebrating Lucia in the comments. #SiteMinder20 #TeamSiteMinder

The Sydney office looked a little different last week. Smaller visitors, bigger energy. We hosted the annual Bring Your Child to Work Day and the little ones made themselves very much at home - crafts, games, movies and a thorough investigation of the snack cupboard 💙 #TeamSiteMinder
