  • Exciting developments for Campbelltown’s creative community 🎨 Plans for an $84.4 million expansion of Campbelltown Arts Centre are now on public exhibition, and we’re inviting the community to have their say. The proposal would reimagine the site, creating a bigger, more flexible and more welcoming arts precinct for the Macarthur region. The concept design includes: ✨ A redesigned arts facility with a theatre ✨ Larger gallery and exhibition spaces ✨ Creative studios and rehearsal rooms ✨ Community and education spaces ✨ Upgraded public areas This is a major investment in arts, culture and community for one of Australia’s fastest‑growing regions, and now we're asking locals, artists and visitors to share their thoughts. • 🏆 We are incredibly grateful for the recognition of our Pre-sale Finance Guarantee team in winning the Property Council of Australia’s NSW People in Property - Team of the Year Award in Sydney overnight. 🏗️ The PFG was designed to unlock stalled housing projects, boost confidence in the market and accelerate the delivery of new homes. In less than a year, it has already demonstrated how targeted, innovative action can support industry, improve feasibility, and increase housing supply where it’s needed most. 🏠 This award reinforces that the PFG is delivering real results through collaboration, smart design and a clear focus on outcomes for communities driven by an amazing team at our department. We’ll continue building on this momentum to help bring more homes to market across NSW. Find out more about the PFG at: https://ow.ly/4tmV50Z024o (L-R: DPHI’s Sandra Reynolds and Sarah Lees, GYDE representative Chris O’Dell, and DPHI’s Cass Franzin.)

  • The NSW Government is turning surplus office equipment into big savings, community support and environmental impact. With the new Guide to Circularity in Office Fitouts, co-developed by Property and Development NSW, agencies are encouraged to reuse, repair and refurbish before buying new. Such simple actions can cut waste, lower costs, and keep resources in use for longer. Schools, TAFE NSW and community groups have already benefited from donations of surplus equipment. • Muru Mittigar is one of the Aboriginal-owned business creating opportunities for community with support from the Caring for Country Aboriginal Business Development Grant program. Delivered as part of the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan, and in partnership with Yarpa Hub, the program accelerates the growth of Aboriginal-owned businesses in Western Sydney. It supports them to become tender-ready and positioned to benefit from opportunities created by the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan over the next three decades. Last year, nine Aboriginal businesses shared more than $500K in support for training, accreditation and equipment. This year, another five businesses will benefit from the $700K program. Programs like this help set Aboriginal businesses up for community-led success today and well into the future. Learn more about the Caring for Country Strategy at https://ow.ly/evlv50YXTwX
