At SXSW 2026, Humanitix’s Global General Manager James Humpherson joined a powerhouse panel featuring Alexandra Amouyel, President and CEO of Newman's Own Foundation, and Greg Curtis, Executive Director at Holdfast Collective (Patagonia), to discuss the future of the 100% for-purpose model. The conversation, moderated by Newsweek’s Editor-in-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham, centered on a single, game-changing truth: Profit is the fuel, but purpose is the destination. 🔥➡️🌎 As James put it: “The greatest irony of the modern era is that we’ve treated 'profit' and 'purpose' as opposing forces, when in reality, one is the fuel and the other is the destination. We aren't here to play a different game, we’re here to show that when you stop optimizing for a few shareholders and start optimizing for humanity, you unlock a new level of innovation.” We’re not just playing the game better; we’re rewriting the rules of the game entirely. ✍️ 🔗Dive into the blog here: https://lnkd.in/eACA5S7N #RadicalGenerosity #SXSW #AustinTX #PurposeDriven #100PercentForPurpose #SXSW2026

Impact isn't a side project. It’s the mission. ✊ We’re stoked to be bringing the Humanitix way to SXSW alongside Newman's Own, Inc. & Patagonia 💚 Our Global General Manager James Humpherson is speaking on a panel with Greg Curtis, the head of Patagonia's nonprofit owner, and Alexandra Amouyel, President and CEO of Newman's Own Foundation. The session will be moderated by Jennifer H. Cunningham, Editor-in-Chief of Newsweek. It is an honor to have one of the most influential voices in media steer this discussion, which speaks to the growing global momentum behind the '100% for Purpose' movement. If you’re at SXSW, come see how we’re scaling impact along with some other pretty legendary companies! 📅 March 18, 10:00 AM 📍 Hilton Austin Downtown #RadicalGenerosity #SXSW #AustinTX #PurposeDriven #100PercentForPurpose #SXSW2026

Our US Team Lead Jessica Markowitz is back from mat leave with a bang! 💥 Spot mama Jess, Co-Founder Adam McCurdie and our youngest ever intern 🍼 at FestForums® chatting all things festival, tickets and impact.💖
Coming to FestForums® this year felt extra special 💛 It was my debut back to work after maternity leave — and yes, I brought my baby… because of course I did. Shoutout to my epic mom, who nannied for me during the conference! There was something really powerful about stepping back into this community while holding the newest part of my world. A reminder that the work we do — creating more impact through festivals and live events — is ultimately about the future we’re building for the next generation. FestForums has always felt like a gathering of people who genuinely care about doing events differently. Being back in that space filled my cup in so many ways. Our amazing Co-founder Adam McCurdie, shared his ideas and advice as a global platform giving back 100% of our profits to support our fellow nonprofits seeking to maximize their impact. So grateful to reunite with friends like Rebecca Throne, EJ Encalarde, and Tucker Miller — and to make wonderful new connections with Abbey Londer, Zoe Berman, and Vivian Belzaguy Hunter. This community continues to show up with openness, creativity, and heart. Proud that Humanitix ticketed FestForums® for the second time this year. I absolutely love being part of a platform and a community that is committed to creating real, measurable impact through festivals. Thank you Laurie Kirby, Esq. and Phoebe Choi for all that you do to make this happen. Already counting down to next year. ✨
