The Plastic Garage and Borealis are united by a long-term partnership built on a shared goal: making circularity and plastics recycling understandable and tangible for everyone. That’s why the Plastic Garage was, of course, also part of our presence at the Long Night of Research 2026. ♻️ And the response couldn’t have been clearer. Throughout the entire event, the Plastic Garage welcomed non-stop visitors – without a single quiet moment. From young children to curious adults, people lined up to see, try and experience how plastics can be recycled mechanically. So what makes the Plastic Garage so special? It turns recycling into something you can see and feel. Visitors follow the journey of plastic step by step – from shredding used material to producing new items with injection molding. Recycling suddenly becomes exciting, understandable and real. And taking home a self-made injection-molded piece makes the experience even more memorable. 🔄 Experiences like this show how powerful collaboration can be – and how much enthusiasm circularity can spark when people are invited to discover it hands-on! #PlasticGarage #CircularEconomy #Circularity #LongNightOfResearch GRAND GARAGE TGW Future Wings

A hot, tasty meal, that’s ready in minutes. 🍜 Instant noodles are all about convenience - but behind the simplicity, the packaging has to work hard. It needs to handle boiling water, microwave heating, and remain comfortable to hold. Together with Amylum Systems, Inc., we’ve developed a monomaterial PP foam bowl that meets these demands, while also being easy to sort and recycle. ♻️ It’s a practical example of how our advanced materials support design for recycling and make everyday life easier.
