A multidisciplinary team at SEHA Tawam Hospital successfully corrected severe scoliosis in a four-year-old boy diagnosed with Stuve-Wiedemann syndrome. Led by Dr. Abdul Nazeer Moideen, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Paediatric Spine Deformity Specialist, the team performed a minimally invasive spinal correction using magnetically assisted growing rods. The child recovered smoothly and was discharged within three days, reflecting SEHA’s commitment to advanced care for children with complex conditions.
